Well, "Love and other Disasters" is a chick flick, definitely, undoubtedly. But it is worth of your 1.5 hours.
It is humourous, it is lovely, especially the leading character -- Jacks -- the "Uron Cupid". And the friendship between Jacks and Peters give me a feeling of considerable warmth. And the London, the special city in the world, looks so beautiful, and makes me imagine again......
And of course, the motive to this blog is the punchline in that movie:
Maybe true love is a decision. You know, the decision to take chance with somebody, to give somebody without worrying whether he'll give anything back or he's going to hurt you or he's really the one. Maybe love isn't something happened to you, maybe something you have to choose.
Love is a process, not an event.
Yes, love is a chance, take your chance and give chance to somebody to go through the process.
